In keeping with the Handcrafted Link theme this week, I offer one of my favorite bracelets today as Today's Treasure!   I have to say, this is one of my favorite pieces!  I love the Southwestern feel,  and the warmness of it!  I can just smell the desert air!  Oh, how I miss that!  Today, this bracelet is marked down 35%, which is the lowest price of the year!

Handcrafted Copper and African Jade Bracelet

Copper has been used in jewelry for over 10,000 years, and the reddish glow to copper is still popular today!   Copper gives a warm, earthy feel to jewelry, and it's one of my favorite metals!

I'm going to keep the theme of jewelry featuring handcrafted links going!  The featured bracelet today has a bit of an Asian flair with the cloinsonne beads.  Cloisonne is an ancient decorative process that involves creating a design on the object with twisted wire, and filling in with gemstones, or in the case of beads, with enamel.  This intricate process produces gorgeous beads!
