New Tourmaline Earrings!

I've finally done it...I have been wanting tourmaline for ages, finally bought it.  Then it sat.  For months.
These are one pair of earrings I've made, and listed them in my Etsy shop.  I hope you like them!

A little bit about tourmaline:  Tourmaline is found in a rainbow of colors.  Ancient legends say tourmaline has traveled along a rainbow picking up all the colors.

Tourmaline in general, is believed to promote self confidence;  allows for increased awareness in yourself, and others.

Lush Labradorite

Labradorite is one of my favorite stones to use when making, and wearing, jewelry!  Grayish, with flashes of blue within the stone, it has so much character!  Found only in  the Labrador region of Canada,  this stone is truly unique!

I've used two different shapes of labradorite beads when designing the necklace below:  tear drop shaped and faceted ovals.  The focal bead is African Bloodstone.

Metaphysically/Spiritually labradorite is thought to promote healing of mental confusion and indecision,  and to protect a person's aura.
